The structure of poultry breeding buildings mainly includes simple sheds, ordinary sheds and plastic greenhouse chicken coops.
Simple sheds
Simple sheds are suitable for construction in flat, leeward and sunny grazing areas. Pyramid-shaped sheds can be built with materials such as tarpaulin, canvas and thatch, with the door open on the south and walls built around. Bamboo and trees can also be used to build a "human" shaped frame, with thatch on the top and bamboo strips around it. After construction, it can be warm in winter and cool in summer. The design of simple sheds should be flexible and expandable, heat-insulating, windproof, rainproof and water-proof.
Ordinary sheds
Ordinary sheds are usually built with a sloped roof facing south, with walls built on the north, windows on the east and west sides, and nylon mesh or wire mesh as windows on the south. The shed area is about 16 square meters, which is suitable for a larger sports field. This structure has good ventilation, makes full use of light, and has good thermal insulation performance. It is suitable for both the south and the north. Ordinary sheds can be built in orchards and semi-open for breeding. Chickens can eat pests and weeds in the orchard, and the excrement they excrete can be absorbed by fruit trees as fertilizer.
Plastic greenhouse chicken coop
Plastic greenhouse chicken coops use plastic film to cover the open-air part of the chicken coop, and use the light transmittance and airtightness of the plastic film to preserve heat and increase the temperature in the shed. Plastic greenhouses can artificially create a microclimate suitable for the normal growth and development of chickens, reduce heat energy consumption, and save nutrients for production. The walls of plastic greenhouses are built into interlayers to enhance cold protection and heat preservation capabilities.
